About Me
I’ve played H.O.R.S.E Poker online only for around 5 or 6 months before i built this site ut overall i have played poker since i was a kid, in my teenage years i played a game here in the UK called 3 card brag which was my introduction to the World of gambling. Since then i found poker and eventually the game of H.O.R.S.E which is now my number one choice online.
As a poker player i’ve always done well online and limit hold’em cash games were my game of choice, after a few years of losing i started to break even and through nothing more than trying eventually managed to become a consistent winner at the cash games and moved up to the respectable higher buyin games.
After a few years i was pretty sick of playing and dropped from sometimes 12 hours a day multi tabling down to a few hours a week, i played more tournaments instead of cash just for something to do as i wasn’t really driven by the money. I’ve now found H.O.R.S.E and in the past 2 months have cashed a fair few times and won 3 of the $30 +$3 tournaments on Starts from around 120ish runners.
I know the above does not make me an excellent horse poker player but in my eyes it’s a good start to what i hope will be my new passion for the game i now love to play H.O.R.S.E Poker is my number 1!
Where I Play H.O.R.S.E Poker
For now i only play this game online as i live in the UK and it’s basically non existent over here at our casino’s and card rooms. In September the WSOPE hits London and i intend to play the H.O.R.S.E event there which has a buy in of £2500 roughly $3600, i’ve set myself a little challenge to see how i get on playing at Poker Stars i want to win enough just from playing H.O.R.S.E Tournaments to pay for my entry and expenses, I’ll keep you updated on my progress.
I’ve put aside just $330 to play the horse tournaments on poker stars, this i must turn in to $3500 by September to reach my WSOPE goal, if i don’t manage it i won’t be playing it. I know playing the game live against some of the best players in the World will be a lot tougher than beating the online game. That’s why unless i win my way there for the experience i won’t waste my money!
